I have been seeing a good counselor, but I felt like he just didn't get what I have been going through. It didn't help that my husband kept telling me to just let it go and get over it already! It feels really good to have my feelings truly understood and validated, finally.

Harboring Hope is an anonymous 13-week course designed to help betrayed spouses heal after infidelity, regardless of whether the unfaithful spouse is supportive, unsupportive, or gone.

Created to help both men and women whose spouses have had an affair, Harboring Hope is structured around a proven workbook and DVD curriculum and is led by a trained group leader. This faith-based course joins you with other betrayed spouses in a private small group of all men or all women. The group communicates via a weekly telephone conference call as well as an online forum that is accessible 24/7. Your small group is a safe, intimate place where you receive support from others while on your path to recovery.

Healing Progress, Week-By-Week

In total, you can plan to devote around 3 hours per week for the 13 weeks. Each week, you’ll start by reading the workbook chapter and watching the DVD track(s). As you read your chapter, you will complete homework exercises, most of which you will share in some form or fashion during your small group call. In addition, you’ll be able to submit questions to Leslie and John, the authors of Harboring Hope, which they will answer during a broadcasted monthly Q&A session. You’ll also gain access to Harboring Hope library of past Q&A sessions.

Harboring Hope will help you:

• Find hope in your circumstances
• Discover what you need to heal
• Normalize your emotional experiences
• Regain your emotional stability
• Confront difficult issues with your spouse
• Educate yourself about infidelity
• Work through grief and forgiveness issues
