ARC On-site GroupsWe not only offer individual counseling, but also groups where couples and individuals can meet in a community of hope and healing. Sometimes the best thing one can hear when faced with a marriage crisis is that others struggle too - and others have overcome. We currently offer the following groups in Austin and plan to offer web-based groups very soon. If you are interested in a web-based group, please let us know using the contact page and we'll email you when these are available. Recovery groups meet in Austin, and message boards and the resource center provide online support so individuals can connect with someone who has recovered from a similar crisis - one who has walked the same path to restoration.
Wounded Heart Group Crossroads Counseling and we will be starting a new group for sexual abuse victims November 8. Karen Royer, PhD., will be offering a thirteen week series studying The Wounded Heart by Dan Allender. Allender’s book has been the source of healing for thousands of women and our hope is that we can offer hope and healing to those who have been abused.
Affair Recovery Groups This 12-week process is designed to help with the initial healing process for couples dealing with betrayal. The group provides hope in God's ability to restore relationships and promote empathy, intimacy and forgiveness for couples.
Advanced Couples Groups "How to Act Right When Your Spouse Acts Wrong" This group is based on the principle that God is far more interested in our holiness than our happiness and stresses that in marriage the main goals are to be conformed to the image of Christ and to always respond in love regardless of his or her behavior.
Men's Group "The Trophy Club" This group provides a structured, discipleship program for men learning how to depend on the power of the Holy Spirit to overcome sexual sin.
Women's Group "Harboring Hope" This is a discipleship group helping women respond to their spouses, encouraging them to focus on the hope that is in God. Many of the women in this group are still in difficult marriages and find tremendous encouragement through fellowship with others. For more information on any group, please contact us at 512-346-9299 or through the contact form. |
