My spouse had an emotional affair that included some physical actions with the affair partner but not sex. She lied and covered up emails, texts, etc. for a couple years. I do not believe she is engaging in an affair anymore but she still lies and hides things from me...such as deleting texts and emails, and won’t talk about the affair because she wants to move on, not relive the past. How do we rebuild trust if she continues to hide and delete texts or anything she thinks I will get upset about while she thinks it is innocent?
