My husband has been involved with his AP for more than three years now. It started as an emotional affair and now I really don't know how to describe it. It stated with him counseling this lady because she had been abused by her late husband who commented suicide. He told me that I should leave with the fact that she is there and she is not going anywhere. He told me that this woman was abused so he needs to show her that there are men who don't abuse woman. He also told me she understands him better than me. At the same time he says he loves me and does not want to leave the marriage. He has refused any help whatsoever and he is not transparent about anything in the marriage. One day he is this sweet man and the next he is so horrible. Is there hope for my marriage to work? One day he says she is still there the next day she is not there? He is always on What's App and Facebook. And I have no access to his accounts. I have tried family intervention but it turned out to be a bad thing because he blames everything on me. I was even shocked by some of the things he said about me in front of his family. We have been married for 17 years and we have 2 children 15 & 8.Should I hang on? Is there hope? The thing is despite everything he has done I still love him. Please help me.
