Question:

It has been 4 months since D-Day and my husband has been doing his work and is a changed person. Initially in the discovery and as part of trying to restore my trust, he made his cellphone available for my checking any time I wanted to. Early on, I would check 3x a day. Lately, I would check once a day. However, he recently mentioned that it starts to bother him that I still check his phone. Now, this does not sit well in me. It has only been 4 months, and I feel that he should not get bothered by my checking. I feel that he is going back to where he was before (although, to his credit, his phone is always out in the open and he is definitely a different, better person). He says, he is being honest with what he feels and he does not want to keep it from me. For me, I am starting to resent him again because of this. I feel that he has no right to get bothered by my checking. Am I being unreasonable?
