For example, this past week we were to document our "fight" pattern. We are not in a typical fight pattern mode since the affair. We are still recovering and trying to find our balance since the affair. We are also right at the one year anniversary and things are very volatile. Others in our group have expressed some of the same concerns. It is not at all that we don't want to do the work. We are wondering if it may make sense to go back a bit and re-do some of the earlier stuff (i.e., review the material from the EMS weekend). Together, and with our small group on the phone call. There were several messages and lessons that we often think we would like to go back over but are busy trying to keep up with the current homework. We feel we need to get a bit further in stabilizing before moving further in Married for Life. Does that make sense? Would this be a bad idea in your view or not recommended? Is it best to follow the order of the program time wise or is it ok to modify a bit? Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks so much.
