Q&A How Can I Assure My Wife That She's the One I Want?

When we have sex I am concerned that my wife is worrying about comparison to my AP or if she is wondering if I am thinking of the AP. I know the comparison thing is a huge hurdle that my wife has continued to deal with. I have told her that having sex outside of the marriage is not the same because of the lack of true intimacy and the guilt that comes with it. I truly do not think of anyone but my wife when we are sexually intimate. She has recently been asking me about more details of the "kind" of sex I had with my AP. It tears me up inside to have to answer these types of questions. I know that this is one of the many costs of being unfaithful. I feel so much remorse that she has to deal with these types of thoughts and emotions. How else can I reassure my wife that she is my only desire?
