We have attended two EMS weekends, I have had EMDR, and we have another trip planned for more EMDR. My question for you has to do with getting past all the sex my husband had with the prostitutes. At the EMS weekends you mentioned how most betrayed mates get past or over the sex part of the infidelity quicker/easier than the deception, and I understand that in theory, but I am having a horrible time getting past the sex he did and the way he shared private and intimate parts of himself with prostitutes - things that he should only have shared with me. It is so painful and debilitating to me that it has gotten to the point that I can't stand to be touched by him. Can you give me some insight or perspective? I feel that the EMDR has helped some, but this aversion to him feels like it is getting worse. Thank you so much for any help.
