I have been working really hard on my recovery. I have two questions: I haven't been angry yet. I've been incredibly sad and hurt but not yet angry. Is this normal? Do some go through recovery without the anger? I feel like something is wrong with me. My husband has been doing everything right: SAA, sees a therapist, talks with a Chaplin, reads books, we communicate better than ever. He's honestly been incredible through all this. One thing that I find disturbing is that he could never look at porn or go into another chat room or have a physical affair but he COULD recall these images in his mind. I've read that addicts can recall images as if they were looking at them on the screen. How can I trust that he's keeping his mind clear too? It seems like too much.
