Question:

Hey Rick. My husband and I attended EMS and are now doing beyond ems. Week 7 homework got us in a little heated conversation. In the paragraph where you are sharing about being intimate, if your wife admits to being attracted to someone in your small group, is she being intimate? Yes, but it may be a source of tension. He apparently needs to know more about how to work through that tension. He doesn't communicate well and is an avoider of confrontation. But if "telling the truth hurts" and causes feelings of contempt towards one another he wants to know how to get passed it. (I told him that's when we have to learn how to communicate in love better) of course he got defensive and said I need to do the same as what I'm saying. Like tit for tat. (exhibit A- need for maturity in our communicating instead of being childlike). Thank u for your help.
