We both had children the same age, were schoolmates at one point, and had dated in the past (we wrote each other letters while he was in prison and labeled this as together). After getting married, we quickly realized how hard marriage is. Him being an ex-felon, my daughter's dad tried to take my daughter. We also had issues with the mother of his son. We have been in court with both my daughter's dad and my step son's mom for five years now. My husband also has a major anger issue that stems from childhood abuse and prison. Despite our obstacles, I always felt we still loved one another. When I found out he cheated on me, it was a major surprise. He cheated on me on his lunch break randomly. Him and this woman went to lunch, drank two margaritas, and she invited him to the hotel. That’s all it took. THEN during disclosure he confesses he also has a problem with pornography and masturbation, plus he almost saw a prostitute early on in our marriage after a fight. The sad part is we are two years past disclosure and we don’t talk. When I try to bring it up, he gets upset. How do we heal from this if it is never addressed? Is he even a sex addict? Could you help me understand?Sections: Rick's Q & A timeRick's QuestionsRL_Category: Find HopeQ&A Recovery LibraryRecovering AloneStrengthening MarriageRL_Media Type: Video
