Question:

Hi Rick, I did Harboring Hope and we are in Married for Life. I discovered his infidelity 18 months ago. We have had multiple Ddays, most recent being February 2016. We were better and I was hopeful. 2 weeks ago, he was unreachable, said he was in a meeting and would call after. Later I received a text and tried to call immediately; no answer. I sent texts asking him to call. He didn't until that night. He said the meeting went long, and then after he hung out with a couple of guys for drinks. I asked him if he had been on our boat and he said no. I looked at his phone and found two pictures of a woman on our boat! He said several times that he didn't know her which didn't make sense because they were taken that day on his phone. Finally he admitted he was on the boat all day alone with this other woman. He swears she is just a friend. I confronted her and she also says they are just friends and her husband knew all about the excursion. I'm not so sure about that. What is your take on all of this? Obviously my husband is not concerned about building trust or about my feelings. How can we possibly move forward when he is fine lying to my face? He also said he was getting advice from her about us which seems completely inappropriate. How does AR feel about spouses getting marriage advice from a person of the opposite sex? Thanks!
