Last night during a discussion about their relationship, she broke down and told us that she was mad at her dad because she knew what he did. She said every little thing he says makes her upset because she knows what he did. We had a conversation to understand what she did know, and in fact, she has pieced together the truth about multiple affairs over our 20 year marriage. We had an extremely difficult conversation with her, without releasing damaging details, and tried to help her understand and cope and take some of the pressure off of her. We both have appointments in a few days with our individual therapists to get advice, and she has expressed interest in beginning to see her own therapist. What else can we do to help repair this damage that we never wanted to occur to her.Sections: Rick's Q & A timeRick's QuestionsRL_Category: Helping Your ChildrenQ&A Recovery LibraryRL_Media Type: Video
