Question

We have been married 27 years. We are 4 months out from discovery of his 15-year battle with pornography and multiple affairs. I found a text on his phone which led to full disclosure a month later. We are in EMSO and are making progress. Empathy is good and I feel he gets what I am going through. Stress and anxiety to the point of physical illness are high on my list of issues, I am learning how to deal with triggers with “turn your but around” statements and following my feelings with truth and that is very helpful when I am awake... My question is how do I deal with the bad dreams? I had bad dreams before and some into marriage that dealt with an argument I had with my dad before he died. They went away when I began following the Lord and found security in my marriage and my faith. They are back now with vengeance. My husband prays with me before I fall asleep to try and help and it works most nights, but I can’t figure out the pattern. Sometimes it’s when I have had a very good day and sometimes it is when I am most stressed and have a meltdown. They mainly consist of women with shadowed faces, taunting me and laughing at me, while they hold on to My Husband. I do not know names or faces of any of the AP’s at all.
