Question:

We are 4 months from D-day 2 and 8 months from D-day 1, and my husband refuses to seek any help. He definitely developed PTSD right after and suffering immensely from betrayal and trauma. Despite me coming clean and him promising me before D day 2 that he will seek help for himself he didn't. So much so that he wont even read an article on his own. Just recently I carefully select few articles to share with him. I am in week 16 of my hope for healing course and at times he sees value of me doing it but often looks down upon it, saying I should have already known this. I was ok letting him take his time and decide for himself when he would like to join harboring hope. But he wants to take a job in another continent. Me and kids won't be able to go with him cause of their education. We have grown apart, we try to be safe for each other and we are successful most of the times. I feel like I need to push him to seek help before he leaves to be on his own. Recovery of both of us is hard as it is and adding distance to it, won't help at all. He did promise me that if he is not better he will consider seeking help in 6 months, as well as another time he said he will consider it if he is really pushed. I didn't wanna push him because he is really sensible and made so many right decisions on his own but this trauma is so complicated and he has no experience.
