You mentioned eyes-open sex in week 12 of EMSO. This is actually a trigger for me because I read a text from my spouse to the affair partner about how great it was looking in her eyes during sex. I feel this was a jab at me because I close my eyes during sex. But I also close my eyes during worship at church. It's a way I tune out the world and be present in the moment. I feel so hurt by the comment and feel so misunderstood. Not once did he ever mention to me that this was an issue for him. Now, opening my eyes in and of itself is a trigger. How do I over come something like this?
