Can you explain, in more detail, the issues someone deals with when they have a fear of being a disappointment? At EMS Weekend you said that my husband dealt with this. I'm trying to understand why he chose to go to this woman's house after meeting her at the bar, knowing what it would lead to instead of coming home. He tells me he didn't want to do it and wants me and the marriage. I know he was drunk and made out with her at the bar, but he got into his own car and made the choice to go there and not home. He says he felt cornered, like he had to go, but that he didn't truly want to. I don't understand this. Why did he choose to disappoint me and not this complete stranger he just met? Why did she win out?
