D-day was May 2019. It was more than a 2-year affair and we've been married only for 3 years. We are almost finished with EMS Online and have set a tentative timeline for this September to decide whether we would recommit to our marriage then. Right now, he doesn't seem to be keen on carrying on recovery course work after EMS Online, like Hope for Healing or therapy as it's been very tiring. He has just changed jobs and relocated to another country till July. He has cut off all contacts with the affair partner since Nov 2019, but only in January this year did he really remove all related photos etc, and I see that as the start of the real detox process. He is definitely moving more towards safety and reconnecting with me. I see where he's at, and understand that he takes a longer time to process things. I understand that it will get tiring for both of us- but should I be saying things like, "If you're not going to decide to do Hope for Healing after, then there's no point in our recovery work". I cannot control his behavior or manage his recovery path, and he has to want things for himself, but he's at such a bad place with no support or anyone to encourage him to pull through except for me. I don't want to make things worse if I push and pull too hard. What would you suggest we do?
