Our marriage therapists suggested a lie detector test might help me believe that he hasn't rests blushed contact with the most recent affair partner who works at the same company across the street from his. I'm having a hard time believing that neither of them has had any contact since he broke it off in an email series that validated his feelings for her and let her know that it wasn't just a fling. They could easily be meeting to have coffee or just meet in the halls between buildings and since no one at work knows about the affairs it wouldn't raise any alarms. Won't he just try to cheat the test, or won't I assume he did? Won't it just make him resentful if he really is being honest about no contact? How do I trust him when there have been so many lies daily since just after we married?
