Then 2 months ago, I found a movie ticket his drawer from the week before. I confronted him about it since he told me he was going to a seminar for work that day. I found out she called him and wanted to see him and my husband actually went to a movie with her! He says nothing happened (no kissing, holding hands, sex) and he said it was wrong to go see her. He says he went out of curiosity, like he wanted to see if he still had feelings for her. He says when he saw her, he realized his whole relationship with her was a mistake and she was no one special. I wanted to hear these words from him for so long. But now I have MAJOR trust issues. I am constantly wondering if he is lying or cheating again. I'm freaking out because all the stuff he was doing before to gain my trust (like texting me and Face Timing when he was gone) no longer give me comfort. Do you have suggestions of things my husband can do to gain my trust back? I asked our counselor this question and he said the main thing is to have each other's passwords so there can be no secrets. And we put find my friends app on our phones. But even with these things, I don't feel safe and can't trust him.
