Porn, online dating/hookup sites, Craigslist sex adds, any kind of social media. How do I heal from all this, especially when the world is geared towards hiding all your secrets and dirty deed with incognito searching? I hate doing anything online but I am forced to face it every day this is how the world works now. My husband has cheated on me in every way you can think of. He said he is sorry and he wants us to work out. He is in therapy for a sex and drug addiction and has done impatient and outpatient for drug treatment. When he gets some money saved up he is going to do the hope for healing course. He always asks me, “How can I help you heal?” I never know the answer to this! I miss the world and how it was before the Internet and social media!! It’s very scary to have constant fear that I could be cheated on while he is sitting right next to me and I would never know it because he could be doing it while being under incognito on his phone or chatting on a chat head that he can swipe away super-fast when I walk by. So I guess I have the same question as him. How can he help me heal with the entire Internet? Should he just get a phone with no internet, but then what if he gets another phone and hides it from me, or he can use his work computer like he did in the past? Do you see where my mind goes and then I start to spiral? How can he make me feel more secure in this day and age of the internet?Sections: Leslie and John's callsRL_Category: For The Hurt SpouseQ&A Recovery LibraryTrauma of InfidelityRL_Media Type: Video
