Prior to finding out about the affair, we never used condoms, not even while we were dating. Since discovery however I went and got tested, had a positive result, and since then have been treated and given a clean bill of health. My husband was tested and treated once before, but not since we separated so I've been insisting on using condoms anytime we've been intimate at least until he gets tested again. My question for you is will it ever be safe to have sex without condoms with him again? How will I know? He's never liked using them in general, but I know for a fact he didn't use condoms consistently with any APs, and I wonder if I'm just exposing myself to greater risk by not using condoms with a known cheater.
