My husband is a recovering sex addict & making wonderful progress. However, we are at odds about financial restitution. I feel he should somehow repay me for the money he spent on gifts, trips, & plane tickets for the AP, as well as numerous prostitutes, strippers, Viagra, etc. He estimates he spent approximately $10,000 over our 20 year marriage. One month after the first disclosure (last July) I had a tummy tuck. I was in shock & terribly sad about his affair & feeling insecure about myself. He had left me & the kids for her. The surgery was $9,000. My husband believes the tummy tuck is financial restitution. That feels unhealthy & degrading to me. We would greatly appreciate your help. Thank you.
