EMSO has been a wonderful tool and has helped us with so many aspects of the betrayal. At this point, my husband is an "open book" and does everything he can to make me feel safe, but my one hesitation to fully recommitting is that he has never arrived at his "why." He started grooming and pimping tenderness with many of our friends, looking for any "in" when we had only been married a little more than a year, and finally found a sexual partner in my best friend and wife of his best friend. He says he was perfectly happy at home, he just wanted something exciting and new, and has always caroused in every relationship he's been in, and alcohol has always been a part. He has been sober since D-Day. My question is this: Does he have enough of an understanding of why he would cause such devastation in our lives to prevent relapse? Do I have enough information to ever fully trust him again?Sections: Rick's Q & A timeRick's QuestionsRL_Category: Find HopeHandling DiscoveryQ&A Recovery LibraryRebuilding TrustRL_Media Type: Video
