My partner and I have been in a long distance relationship ever since we started dating. We are countries apart. We meet once or twice a year and the relationship is deeply emotional and hardly physical. We were about to get married when I called it off because I was having an affair. It just felt more real and I instantly felt more connected with the affair partner because I saw him everyday. My partner suggested we do the EMS course and we are on our final week. However we both lead busy lives, hardly see each other, and its getting difficult for me to gauge if there is light at the end of the tunnel. We do our best to meet halfway across continents for a few days every few months but it hardly feels enough. Does it make sense to continue the relationship? I am so lost.
