The articles, the video blogs, and expert Q&A has helped me tremendously during this difficult time in my life. However, I feel my situation is a bit different and was hoping for some guidance. I feel as though I'm in limbo; unable to move forward. I am the betrayed spouse and have found my situation to be paralyzing. I found out 6 months ago that my husband had a one time affair with my sister. The affair happened 5 years ago. It is my understanding that it was a one time event. A double betrayal that I cannot grasp my mind around I've learned that she pursued my husband when he was under the influence of alcohol. Remorse on his part; she doesn't seem to care one way or another. Is this too big an obstacle to overcome? I have yet to come across any articles or blogs that closely relates to my situation; double betrayal with a family member. Has ARC been able to successfully help other couples in my situation? Is my situation too gross and too messed up beyond repair to save? Is the survival rate of my marriage bleak due to the given circumstances? Am I weak and stupid for even trying to save this marriage? Any advice or pointers to articles that may help will be greatly appreciated. Please help?
