My spouse had an affair seven years ago and we both have been in marriage and individual counseling since discovery. One of our issues is my husband not being honest. There was also a child that came from the affair. I don’t have the luxury of him just not having contact because of the child, which I have accepted and raised like my own. My question is, how do I even begin to trust him when I’m still getting trick truthed seven years after the fact? We are scheduled in your December EMS Weekend but I am just exhausted after seven years. 70% of our marriage has been trying to save it. He sees and reads about all these others stories which only prompts him into believing and has said, I’ve done nothing compared to these others that have had multiple affairs. I am lost and I don’t know how much longer I can fight....
