Keeping everyone motivated for the work is critical for high-quality care. I have learned that the team leader has to recognize the good work of the teammates, help find ideas for improvement and work cohesively, and be supportive to teammates in times of need and crises, including those in their personal lives (of course, excluding their relationship-related issues).
