Question

My wife and I have done a tremendous amount of recovery work. We have committed ourselves to attending church, having weekly quiet time together and we see a Christian counselor and licensed therapist twice a week. Our marriage is better than it has been in a while. My question is this: When we talk about the affair it brings a huge cloud over us. However, I know that my wife is still processing and still has questions that need answering. I know there are issues around the affair that I need to work through. How do we bring up the topic of the affair as it relates to healing without it becoming a downer, reminding us of such a negative situation and all the trauma that went along with it.
