After being lied to so well for so long I’m finding it extremely difficult to believe that my husband has truly revealed everything. I also worry that he has lied about specifics as he has a history of keeping part of the truth back even when it wouldn’t make things seem worse…it seems like a compulsive habit to squirrel information away for himself. The problem is sometimes those details were extremely important and finding them out later is worse than torture. I feel like it might kill me if I don’t have some assurance that he’s being honest now.
