Question:

My spouse has had an emotional affair off and on for 8 months. We have been married 18 years and things got out of control between her and her college boyfriend when they reconnected through Facebook. I found out about it 6 months ago. She has acted remorseful and I have forgiven her repeatedly after finding out it starts up again. Each time brings us back to ground zero and each time is as painful as the last. Is it unreasonable for me to say that if she does it again I want to be separated? Appreciate your guidance.
