Question:

Earlier this week my spouse (betrayer) and I (betrayed) were having a normal conversation when they mentioned something about the AP in passing. It wasn't anything of significance but it did bother me. I don't believe it was a conscious decision but simply one that came out of their mind as stream of thought regarding the conversation. This hurt me because it flowed so naturally and because for at least a brief time I knew they were thinking about the AP. I bit my tongue and did not say anything because I don't think it was a conscious decision. I understand that I cannot stop memories or triggers but do you think I should let my spouse know that I was hurt and that it did bother me?
