An older man began to complement her and give sexual advances. After a month she gave in and had a few month affair I am devastated. It’s been 2 1/2 months since D-Day and I’m beginning to reflect. Our marriage and intimacy was great. Why would she feel depressed and low self-esteem? As I think back 10 years ago my brother’s wife did the same thing after their first child. Unfortunately their marriage did not make it. I’m beginning to have more empathy for my wife but I still can’t face the fact she didn’t talk to me but began to talk to this man and ended up in affair with him. There were no emotions in her affair. A lie detector test found that to be true. So it was just sex to make her feel better.Sections: Leslie and John's callsRL_Category: Q&A Recovery LibraryTypes of AffairsWhy They Did ItRL_Media Type: Video
