Question:

Even though my husband has expressed the desire to continue with our married relationship after D-Day in January 2018, he has not completely committed to being proactive in doing the recovery work I know is necessary to bring us to where we need to be. My husband is not the easiest person to talk to, mainly when addressing issues that require action on his side and that will force him to get out of his comfort zone. It happens also with issues which do not involve infidelity. It is who he is, so I am not all that surprised, but it sure would be nice to see him put some action into work on assurances and the repair of trust in our relationship. In the beginning, he committed to watching Affair Recovery’s videos. Sometimes it would not go well. He has a hard time accepting failure in life. Do you recommend I share with him the video you both put together for week 2 - discovery? The video addresses everything I believe and I would like him to hear it coming from someone else.
