Question:

We are approaching 14 months since D-Day. For the most part things are good and I am committed to staying in our marriage. My husband is also very committed and is doing everything possible to help us move forward to a loving marriage. My problem is my ego. I can’t stand the thought that this person tried to steal the life I built over 27 years. I’m starting to forgive my husband but I’m stuck on hate for her. She knew us and our family and she tried to move me out and take over my life. I find this so cruel. How can I get past these incredibly painful feelings? She lives rent free in my brain, I want her out!

Still Stuck, but I am trying?

Thank You for this video. I am in a Harboring Hope course for betrayed Women. I am in week 6 and Fear is the worst part for me. It has been 2 months since my UH has spoken to his Ap (He told her that he can't do this to please stop calling, that he is working on his marriage, mind you I wasn't there for the conversation.). She has been his family childhood friend since birth. Their Mothers are best friends. I found out my husband has an emotional affair with his AP Christmas Eve 2017. The Ap just doesnt leave, she is divorced twice and my husband seems committed to staying in our marriage. My UH says it was the biggest mistake of his life and he just wants to move forward. His Ap keeps contacting him, their affair lasted over a year with secret apps, emails and texts, but I always found out. I just cant seem to get her out of my head, constantly wondering if they are still talking. His Ap is not one to easily give up? I am really struggling with this Fear!!!!

What type of affair was it?
