My husband has pointed out that it was only once out of hundreds of performances and that the feeling he gets from performing is like none other. I feel terribly unsafe when he goes, but because his counselors have advised that he continue performing, I feel as though my requests for him to take a break for a while are not taken seriously. It hurts tremendously but he doesn't seem to care about the great deal of anxiety and pain these cause me.
