Question
My first D-Day was May 28, 2019. It has been a long road, and I continue to live with limited information. I cannot recommit to my husband, because he is not safe. He lacks the required tools needed to provide what a betrayed spouse needs. He is still defensive. He still feels like I’m attacking him when I want to talk. He wants to make a blanket statement of, “I had an affair. I betrayed you, and I’m working hard to make it up to you.” If I ask for anything else, it doesn’t go well. We are scheduled to attend EMS weekend in May. Should I have sex with him under these circumstances? And if not, how do I explain my reason if he is unable to receive it?
