Prior to attending we were stuck, he didn’t agree with doing the “work” to recover- he just didn’t agree with any of it. His idea is that you forgive and move forward. After EMS Weekend it really seemed like he realized and learned a lot, we both did. We have been getting along and doing really well. Up until I have a trigger, I tend to pull away and get quiet. He gets angry and feels like I’ll never get over it now. He still won’t go to counseling or any help for himself, only the Beyond EMS work. Boundaries don’t seem to work with him, he just says he’s done and I’m not capable of forgiveness. So we are back in that cycle again, what do I do now? He packed and left a couple of days ago.Sections: Leslie and John's callsRL_Category: For The Hurt SpouseQ&A Recovery LibraryRL_Media Type: Video
