I'm not just dealing with adultery but Emotional abuse too. He appears to be understanding. We have been separated 7 months now. He says he will do whatever it takes to help my healing process. However, the three items I have given him to read or complete he has not. Truth is when actions and words meet, so he is not being truthful with himself. What do you do when your spouse is withholding from you? For my healing I asked to do full disclosure and he agreed. I feel I am ready to hear anything and God has prepared me. When i kindly ask him about it he makes many excuses and it gets pushed off. It's frustrating, and confusing trying to heal, set healthy boundaries and try to trust. Again, how do I move forward from a withholding spouse who wants me to trust, but is doing nothing to build it. Who says he wants to help, but keeps making excuses why he can't yet still wants to build a friendship? Thank you for taking the time to answer this and I hope I made myself clear.
