Question
When I bring up the past trying to illustrate a point, ‘pattern’ of behavior, it infuriates my husband. Assuming I never forgave him, beating him up, wrongly involving others comments to validate my point. My husband’s hypersensitive to correction, assuming criticism, reprimanding. Not my intention! So, do I stuff my feelings and resentment? Not freely express myself without fear of triggering porn, and/or risk being quickly corrected, even in public? So is the past, the past? Never to be referenced again? How do I build a new beginning and draw closer to someone when I am continually walking on eggshells?
