My husband never had a physical affair, but was addicted to pornography and had a vivid, lustful fantasy life. The section in the curriculum about a man's physical desire and the imprints left by an "arousal template" was so intriguing to me. Early on, as I tried to wrap my head around my husband's behaviors, I often asked him what he found alluring and tempting about the women he objectified. He always claimed he didn't know, which I found hard to imagine. This arousal template from childhood could give some reasons, although he grew up in a God honoring, loving home. Is there anything more you can address or expand upon with this whole idea of the arousal template?
