Hi Rick, 
My husband and I are 9 months from discovery of his 2 overly close emotional work relationships, pornography use, masturbation, 2 trips to the VIP rooms in strip clubs, a 6 month affair with a coworker in another state, and a one night stand with a random woman in his industry. We have had mostly good help so far. We are taking online classes with AR right now. He in is 12 step recovery for alcoholism and addiction and is about 8 months sober. I have been in 12 step recovery for 6 years. We are making slow, steady, and painful progress.

My question is what does a healed and reconciled marriage look like and feel like? Have you written anything about or read anything about what it looks and feels like to be healed in your marriage after infidelity? I don’t know what a healed marriage would even look like. I can’t ever imagine not feeling the intense pain and hurt I feel about his multiple infidelities. 

I would love to have a vision of what a reconciled marriage looks and feels like in my head as the goal we are working towards. Thank you for any resources you can direct me to!
