I am taking the EMSO course with my husband. We have been listening to the classes and I am finding that they trigger me sometimes in that you have discussed listening to God’s direction. My husband told me he felt God led him to his affair partner. He said he would pray for direction in what to do and when he did he felt led to the affair partner through his prayer and God’s direction. He even went as far to say that he got feathers when he prayed for this and took it as a sign that it was God sanctioned. I have asked him recently if he heard God speaking to him about what is going on now and he said he is praying and not getting signs or hearing anything. What can I do to help him understand this is not God sanctioned? The feathers he would receive after he prayed for direction, the signs he’s not receiving now that’s he praying if this is the right path.
