She has been strongly recommended for this opportunity and it is a lifelong dream of hers, but it will have high visibility during and after the election. There is a possibility that my infidelity could be publicly exposed and used as tabloid fodder. I’m okay with the potential for this to happen and want her to proceed, but she is mostly concerned for our adult children and families to have to deal with the publicity. Should she run for the position? Should we consider intentionally admitting my infidelity, or deal with it if & when it is exposed?
