How can I better communicate to my unfaithful spouse that his lack of Consistency is an obstacle in our recovery? He will really seem to work hard at recovery for a couple of weeks but can't seem to stick with it. I still can't trust him to follow through when he says he is going to do something. Even just little things like home repairs or keeping small promises like not looking at his cell phone when we are at dinner. He says I am being nit picky. But if I can't depend on him for the small things how am I suppose to depend on him for the big things? Another example is he read the book restoring her trust. Got off to a good start. It lasted about 2 weeks and now it is right back to the same ole same ole. I am sick to death of this dance, but feel powerless to change the steps.
