Question:

We finished EMS Online a few months ago but my husband is still seeing the affair partner. He even had a vacation with her a week ago. The affair partner purposely did something to let me know what she was with my husband. My husband lied to me saying that he is taking time to visit his old friend for advice. I was happy that he is eventually looking for help, but it turns out it’s a lie. We talked last week. He said he feels ashamed of what he did. He is sorry for the pain he has caused me. He is disgusted with affair partner. He wants to end the affair but it’s very hard because the affair has lasted almost 4 years. I found out in 2016 but he made me feel that they were only friends. I know I can’t help someone who doesn’t need help. He wants to end affair but he is not taking action. He is still doing business with her and he still doesn’t cut down the attachment he has with her. I am taking Harboring Hope for myself. I am deeply hurt and sometimes can’t feel anything. I don’t understand how my husband can continue the affair knowing that it’s hurting me. He told me he loves me and chooses to come home. But the problem is he is so attached to the affair partner. Any advise for him? He said in a month he should cut down all business with her and also mental attachment. I am keeping my options open, to separate or even divorce! I don’t want this kind of love.
