Question

My wife keeps making comparisons of the affair partner to herself - pointing out physical attributes that she views as opposite of herself - which are the same attributes she is insecure about. She is almost making a case that I chose the affair partner to have an affair to be with someone that she is not. I keep reassuring her that this person had nothing of the kindness and courage that my wife has, that only seems to trigger her more. Is this "comparison obsession" or "the other woman" syndrome? Please explain what is going on in her mind - how to help her move forward?
