Question:

Hi, Rick, We are 15 months out from the discovery of my husband's affair. I spent nearly a year too focused on healing the marriage before taking Harboring Hope course. It was immensely helpful in my own healing. But now, I'm at a loss as to what to do now. Although my husband has maintained no contact, and we are still in counseling, we are drifting further and further apart. We can't communicate well -- he refuses to discuss the affair, he can't seem to empathize with my hurt, and past trauma in my life is making it difficult for me to keep making myself vulnerable to him, only to have my feelings brushed off time and again. The rejection and loneliness is almost too much to bear. I just don't know what to do.
