The techniques to help my parasympathetic system to kick in do not work for me. I have several things I do to keep my sympathetic system in check, but these do not work for the pain I’ve felt from the betrayals and lies. I can’t do the medication route because my medications are managed by a pain management clinic. How am I supposed to utilize these tools if my parasympathetic system is never activated and I am always in fight or flight mode? I even had doctors tell me that I’ve been their longest patient with this disease because most of their patients commit suicide due to never being able to shut down the sympathetic system. I need help figuring out how to shut down the reflex sympathetic system when it differentiates from the disease I have and the betrayal and lies. I know this is probably a new one for you since this disease is so rare but this is where I am at with all of this right now. I think a polygraph might help but that is not possible due to our situation with his overseas job.Sections: Rick's Q & A timeRick's QuestionsRL_Category: Emotional RegulationFind HopeQ&A Recovery LibraryTrauma of InfidelityRL_Media Type: Video
