Question:

I am 3.5 months out from D-Day and 4 months out from the end of my husband's infidelity. We started seeing a counselor right after D-Day to stabilize things. I had a miscarriage; then husband went away with the military about 2 months after D-Day. Three and a half weeks passed and we had counseling session with my husband Skyped in. I was pretty upset during the session and the counselor (literally) threw his hands up at the end and told us we were not making enough progress and needed intensive inpatient counseling. I felt that we had been making some progress, and his words took me right back to D-Day. I could barely get out of bed the next day. Now, I don't want to go back. How can I know that the counselor is a good fit?
